Measure, Control and Log Data - NEW Sizes The MultiCon SX-CMC multi-channel meter / controller / recorders are now available in a choice of compact 96mm (CMC-99) or large screen 144mm (CMC-141) panel mounting enclosures.
All models feature advanced controller and recorder features for industrial control engineering applications. The wide range of input and output modules, together with a choice of interfaces, enables precise customisation for each application. Each SX-CMC unit also functions as a data recorder – with an internal memory that can, for example, record data from 24 channels every second for two months. The colour TFT touch screen display controls the simple configuration and operation menus.
Inputs, or groups of inputs, can be displayed in numeric, bargraph or graphical format. All versions have an RS-485 (Modbus RTU) serial port and two USB ports. Additional serial, USB or Ethernet ports are options. The free DAQ Manager software allows visualisation, archiving and printing of recorded measurements. |

Large Multifunction 288x96 mm Panel Mounting Indicators / Controllers The OC557 Series 5-digit programmable multifunction indicators/controllers feature large 57mm high green, red or yellow seven segment displays in DIN-size 288x96mm panel mounting cases suitable for grid and mimic display mounting. Designed for connection to 0/4-20mA process input signals, or DC and AC voltages up to 300VDC, or other industrial signal sources including: RTD sensors, thermistors, resistors, potentiometers or thermocouples.
Two set points can be set within the entire display range and activate open collector transistors or mechanical relays. Two memories store the maximum and the minimum display readings and a digital filter can be used to smooth noisy signals. A tare function is available to zero the display value and the tare value remains stored when the power is switched-off. An excitation voltage is available to supply external sensors. |
NEW High Power Bench Power Supplies New switch-mode bench power supplies provide current up to 60 amps and power up to 960 watts. Suitable for use in production testing, R&D, service, and university labs.
The BK1693 and BK1694 models provide a variable voltage output from 1 to 15 V at 60 A and 1 to 30 V at 30 A, respectively, plus remote sensing terminals and an auxiliary output. The BK1900, BK1901 and BK1902 models feature constant current mode. In addition to their wide range of voltage and current configurations and auxiliary output, these models also offer rotary encoder knobs for precise level setting and user-defined presets for quick recall of common test parameters. All models include analogue remote control that allows for external adjustment of the variable output voltage or current. Models BK1693, BK1694, and BK1900 also feature remote sensing capability to compensate for voltage drops due to any load lead resistances. |
Rugged Indicators for Marine and Transportation Applications use New Stepper Motor Technology Rugged analogue meters, using new stepper motor technology, are now available from Metrix Electronics Ltd. Highly resistant to shock and vibration to EN 60 051 standards, they are particularly suitable for marine and transportation use. Applications include thrust direction, rudder position, propeller adjustment, RPM, temperature and speed. Housed in 72, 96 or 144mm square DIN-size panel mounting cases with a choice of 270 or 360 degree pointer mechanisms. Typical units have a 4 to 20mA input range, while the scales can be customised to suit the user’s application (see 360 degree thrust angle example). Both the scale and pointer can be illuminated with adjustable brightness. The auxiliary power supply voltage is 18 to 36V DC. Operating temperature range is -25°C to +55°C. |
Comprehensive Range of Bargraph Indicators Standard and ULTRA-LARGE size bargraph meters for industrial instrument panel, mimic display or control desk requirements. Choice of specifications from simple trend indicators to sophisticated controllers: Bargraph scale lengths from 50 mm to 1000 mm. Horizontal or vertical panel mount housings 75, 96, 144, 378, 746 or 1150 mm in height |
Portable Multifunction 2- and 4-Channel Recorders with Optional Built-in Printer DAS 20 and DAS 40 series recorders feature 2- or 4-channel ‘universal’ inputs, with optional built-in printer. Their rechargeable battery supply gives up to 10 hours of autonomous recording.
They offer direct recording of all channels simultaneously to the internal hard disk with a 100kHz bandwidth.
Measurement functions include: voltage, current, frequency, power (with harmonic analysis) and temperature. In addition to 16-logical inputs channels and two alarm outputs. The 7-inch colour screen displays the multi-channel waveforms and is also used to set up the desired configurations for the instrument through easy-to-use on-screen menus. Ethernet and USB interfaces are provided for remote control, data transfer to a network, external storage media or a PC for archiving and further analysis. |
Rugged Meter for Both Digital Terrestrial and Satellite Installations The Sefram 7846 TV signal analyser offers comprehensive measurements of digital satellite (DVB-S and DVB-S2) and terrestrial (DVB-T) systems. The bright LCD colour display shows standard MPEG-2 and high-definition MPEG-4 free-to-air digital TV pictures and detailed measurements. These include: BER, MER lost packets and noise margin; plus an ultra-fast frequency spectrum, constellation and guard interval diagrams. Measurements can be saved to a USB memory stick for transfer to a PC. The fast CheckSat mode simplifies satellite dish alignment. Other features include rugged compact housing, more than 2-hour battery life and a weight of just 1.5kg. |
